Online help to pray - because we are not all able to worship in church we still have a page of online resources to enable us to pray and join in from home http://www.parishofmeliden.org.uk/page4.htm
Praying in a time of Pandemic - we have also added a page of prayers and suggested prayer topics to cover this worrying time http://www.parishofmeliden.org.uk/page5.htm
Our church is now able to open each day, from 9.30am until about 4.30pm. You are welcome to come in to have a look around, say a prayer, or just enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Unfortunately you will not be able to light a candle just yet.
Mothers' Union - Our next meeting will be on Monday the 25th of April at 2pm in Church, when Mrs Mary Steel will talk about "How I Got To Here". Everyone very welcome.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
There has been a Parish Church in Meliden for centuries. Here people have come to worship God and to learn to follow the Christian way.
The Church is also the centre of the community where people come for baptisms, weddings and funerals. On these occasions we speak to God who loves us, judges us, forgives us, strengthens us and finally welcomes us home. The Church provides worship which has warmth and friendliness and also that formality and dignity which speak of truths that do not change in a changing world.
We invite you to join us.
