We are holding services every Sunday at 11.15am and 6pm. The morning services will alternate each week between the Holy Eucharist and Morning Worship and on Sunday the 26th of September is Morning Worship.  The 6pm service is Evening Prayer, except on the 4th Sunday of the month when it is the Holy Eucharist.

All required cleaning will take place before every service.  Face masks must be worn in the church and a hand sanitiser will be found in the porch for use on the way in and out.

  • Services put together by Reverend Harvey are available most weeks to be followed online.  Contact him at melidenvicar@gmail.com to receive a link to the services.

  • Our church is currently unable to open each day. We will resume when we can and then you will once again be able to come in and light a candle, say a prayer, or enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

  • Coffee Morning - The coffee mornings are also having to take a break and will resume when it is safe to do so.

  • Mothers' Union  - Meetings have been cancelled in recent months but we hope to resume on Monday the 25th of October at 2pm.  Meetings will be held on the 4th Monday of most months and are usually in Church.

There has been a Parish Church in Meliden for centuries. Here people have come to worship God and to learn to follow the Christian way.

The Church is also the centre of the community where people come for baptisms, weddings and funerals. On these occasions we speak to God who loves us, judges us, forgives us, strengthens us and finally welcomes us home. The Church provides worship which has warmth and friendliness and also that formality and dignity which speak of truths that do not change in a changing world.

We invite you to join us.
